The Silenced Museum presents: the Intervention Collection

Founded in January 2018, Silenced Museum is a direct action group using visual art, music and performance to inspire widespread intervention against sexual harassment. We strive to welcome broad audiences – allies and the disunited alike – through accessible content, educating and raising awareness around the importance of social action.

With their new open exhibition, Silenced Museum Invites self-identifying women and non-binary artists using live performance, and digital and visual art to imagine what a world without sexual harassment looks like – and how we got there.

Alongside the exhibition the collective will be running a programme of FREE live workshops and performances, as well as our ticketed opening evening – the Intervention Discussion

+ 8:30pm-11pm: Our exhibtion will be officially open to the public – there will also be a bar and tunes playing all eve!

+ 1-2pm: Virtual Reality Bystander Intervention Workshop
+ 2-3pm: Sisters of Frida – Sexual Harassment and Disability Workshop
+ 3pm: Performance by Ama Josephine Eclair
+ 4-5pm: Virtual Reality Bystander Intervention Workshop

+ 12-6pm: Exhibition open
