DISCHARGE
Symposium & Performances
DISCHARGE was a notorious performance art event dedicated to presenting difficult, radical and marginalised performance work. Curated by artist Martin O’Brien and hosted by kink and fetish clubs in London, DISCHARGE embraced the endless possibilities of the performance space for aesthetic, physical, and political art and experimentation.
A decade later, DISCHARGE returns with a special one-off day of performances, talks and films reflecting on sickness, queerness, death, disability and immortality.
Full programme to be announced in January 2024.

Accessibility
We can provide BSL interpretation for both the syposium and performances should this be wanted. There is space on the order form to note this.
Ugly Duck’s ground floors HUB and GARAGE are both wheelchair accessible. The access route for wheelchair users is via the car park into the Garage. We have one accessible toilet. All toilets are gender neutral. There are benches and chairs accessible in the space to sit down. If you need us to help facilitate your visit to Ugly Duck please contact us at general@uglyduck.org.uk and we will do our best to help you to plan your visit. Ugly Duck is run by queer and queer “friendly” staff. All of us have basic training in inclusivity and accessibility.
