Vocal Workshop with Winter James from @femmedaemonium

8 October 22 @ 16:00 - 19:00

Donation

From FemmeDaemonium’s ritual practitioners, this vocal project My Blood Is My Voice looks at how we release the sound blocked in our bodies.

The sound of the queer voice takes on many forms throughout our journey of actualisation. This workshop explores how the voice feels and builds on a practice of identifying where it needs release in the body. Through gentle floor work, collective drone and the opportunity to let your voice off the leash completely- this guided session creates a collective practice of support to better meet ourselves with what our voice is capable of – not what society expects of it. You do not need to be a singer to attend- but there will be opportunities to sing. This event is trauma informed on gender identity and open to anyone who identifies with these principles.

Please note- these workshops have limited capacity to 25 per session on a first come, first served basis. If you reserve a place and can no longer attend – please release your ticket for someone else to use.

There will be two sessions to accommodate varying access needs. All tickets are on a donation basis.
